Scene 1 (Part 1)
['Previously on Lost' Soundbit]
[Shot of Jack's eye opening, looking up at the trees. Overhead shot panning out to show Jack is lying winded on the ground.
Jack hears distant voices, slowly gets up, in pain. Finds his pants zipped down. Then he runs though the jungle and ends up
at the beach. People screaming. He sees the wreckage. People limping and calling for help. Shot of the entire beach with all
the wreckage. Charlie getting too close to a big fire. Jin screaming and pointing "Others! Others! Others!". Michael
calling for Walt.]
JACK: I'm not in Candice anymore...
[Whooshing noise (Flashback)]
Scene 1 (Part 2)
[Shot out of airplane window over wing above clouds. Shot of Jack. Flight attendant walking up to Jack.]
FLIGHT ATTENDANT CANDICE: Can I get you anything else, sir?
JACK: No. I'm fine with this. Thank you.
[Jack smiles to the flight attendant, the Flight Attendant giggles softly to herself]
JACK: However, if you would be so kind as to show me to the washroom..
FLIGHT ATTENDANT CANDICE: Certainly Sir, please follow me.
[Shot of Jack getting up from his seat and smiling at the Flight Attendant again. Flight Attendant is blushing. Shot of
the two walking towards the washroom. We see the Flight Attendant's nametag says Candice. Shot of Jack and Candice's backs
walking towards the bathroom. Sawyer, in his seat, is giving Jack the thumbs up and smiling.]
[Whooshing noise (Flashforward)]
Scene 1 (Part 3)
[Shot of Jin emerging from the jungle and running towards Jack.]
JIN: OTHERS! OTHERS! OTHERS!
[Shot of Jack grabbing Jin.]
JACK: Speak English you freak! I don't understand you!
[Jack smacks Jin across the face. Jin falls limp to the ground, out cold.]
[Hurley enters the scene and approaches Jack.]
HURLEY: Hey dude, I found the flight manifest and was just kinda going around and seeing who was alive, and stuff... anyways,
for the people who are still here, I was kinda hopin that they could all give me a bit of information about themselves...
just for something fun... easy way to get to know people since it doesn't look like we'll be getting rescued anytime soon...
JACK: [laughing]: Ok Hurley. Well, my name is Jack Shepard. I'm a doctor. I enjoy the color blue, and I'm 32. I think.
[Shot of Hurley jotting down some notes.]
HURLEY: Cool. Whats your favorite color?
JACK: Three. Lincoln is my favorite president.
[Shot of Hurley jotting down more notes.]
HURLEY: Awesome dude, me too. Marital status? Got a wife? A girlfriend? Both?
JACK: Um, no, neither. I was married. Divorced now. Live together die alone right? Hey wait, that's one damn good line...
I should hold onto that one..
[We hear Boone somewhere calling for Jack.]
HURLEY: Hmm, Alright. So what is your sexual orientation?
JACK [angry]: Ok Hurley, you crossed the line with that one. Boone needs me! So if you'll just excuse me..
[Shot of Jack storming off screen. Hurley is still standing, jotting down some notes.]
HURLEY: Ooookay then..
[Hurley jots down one last note]
HURLEY: Gay..
[Spinning LOST and music]
Scene 2 (Part 1)
[Shot of Locke sitting on the beach smiling at the ocean. Walt rolls up to Locke. Locke turns around.]
LOCKE: Hello there. My name is John Locke. You must be Walt..
WALT: [silent]
LOCKE: Not really, it's a better game than checkers. You play checkers with your Pop?
WALT: [silent]
LOCKE: I know, I know. Theres two players. Two sides. One is light, one is dark. Walt, do you want to know a secret?
WALT: [silent]
LOCKE [whispering]: I see dead people.. but that won't be important until Season 4.
[Shot of Locke stretching out, content with himself.]
LOCKE: Walt my dear friend, I have a feeling you and I, we, will be very close friends. I can see it all now...
[Whooshing noise (Flashforward)]
Scene 2 (Part 2)
["Imagine Me & You" playing. Shot of Locke running through the jungle prancing and dancing with a full head
of hair, holding Walt in his arms.]
[Locke and Walt fall down together and laugh.]
[Shot of Walt and Locke reading comic books together.]
[Shot of Locke teaching Walt how to throw a knife at a tree. Shot of the tree. A man is tied to it (Ben Linus). The man
is frightened. A knife narrowly misses his head. Shot of Locke and Walt. Locke is gleefully clapping his hands and jumping
up and down.]
[Shot of Michael entering the scene.]
MICHAEL: Where the hell have you been Walt? Who is this guy?
Walt: [silent]
LOCKE: My name is John. Do you want to know a secret?
[Shot of Locke smiling an orange peeling.]
MICHAEL: What is wrong with all you people?
[Sayid walks into the picture after being diverted from his original course (Shannon's Tent) by Michael yelling.]
SAYID: What do you mean, you people?
[Whooshing noise]
Scene 2 (Part 3)
[Shot of Locke alone on the beach looking out to sea. Shot pans around Locke to face him. Locke smiles an orange peeling.
He still hasn't moved.]
[Boone walks by with a bunch of firewood in his arms, and trips over Locke. Both fall over.]
[Shot of Boone getting up, brushing the sand off himself.]
BOONE: Goddammit! Why didn't you move, old man? You paralyzed or something? You've been sitting there all day.
[In background we see Sayid exiting Shannon's tent straightening his shirt and belt buckle. Shannon emerges from the tent
and waves flirtingly to Sayid.]
[Boone collects his wood and walks off camera.]
[Shot of Locke moving himself back into his seated position from before. He continues smiling and peering out into the
ocean, unaffected by the run-in with Boone. Shot continues circling him.]
[Spinning LOST and music]
Scene 3 (Part 1)
['Previously on LOST' soundbit]
[Shot: Charlie, Shannon, Boone, Sawyer, Kate, Sayid & Jin all walking in single file up a hill. Shot of Shannon turning
around to face Charlie while walking.]
SHANNON: Can I ask you something?
CHARLIE: Me? I'd be thrilled.
SHANNON: Have we met before?
CHARLIE: No, that would be unlikely. I look familiar, though, right?
SHANNON: Yeah.
CHARLIE: Can't quite place it?
SHANNON: No, I can't
CHARLIE: [singing]: You all everybody.. You all everybody!
[Shannon covers her ears in pain]
SHANNON: What the hell was that for?
CHARLIE: That's us. DriveShaft. Look, the ring -- second tour of Finland. You've never heard of DriveShaft?
SHANNON: [incredulous]: Like, the band?
CHARLIE: The one and only!
[Charlie turns around to give Sawyer a high five. Sawyer shrugs shrewdly and ignores it.]
SHANNON: Ok then, I believe you. Which member were you?
CHARLIE: The well hung one.
[Charlie winks. Shannon smiles.]
[Whooshing noise (Flashback)]
Scene 3 (Part 2)
[Shot of Charlie in a small bathroom sitting on a toilet eating Coco Puffs (Nesquick) from a baggy.]
[Shot of the door bursting open revealing Jack and Candice in an embrace of sorts. They pause. They look over at Charlie.
Shot of Charlie staring back at them, mouth full of Coco Puffs. Shot back to Jack and Candice staring at Charlie. Shot back
to Charlie. Shot back to Jack and Candice. Shot back to Charlie, mouth still full of Coco Puffs. He places his hand in the
box and grabs a handful of Coco Puffs. Opening his mouth, he very slowly raises his hand to place the Coco Puffs in his mouth.
Bits of Coco Puffs fall from his mouth and all over himself and the floor. The quietness is disturbed by a slow, annoying
crunch sound made by the Coco Puffs in Charlie's mouth.]
[Shot of Jack and Candice. Jack slowly grabs the door handle and closes it over.]
[Whooshing noise (Flashforward)]
Scene 3 (Part 3)
[Shot of Shannon and Charlie returning from behind a bush and straightening their clothes. They run to catch up with the
rest.]
[Shot of Charlie, Shannon, Kate, Sayid, Sawyer & Jin walking up a hill. Shot of the group from behind as they near
the top of the hill.]
[Shot of the group standing at the top of the hill peering at something unseen looking confused and dumbfounded.]
[Shot pans over them to reveal a FutureShop, Sobeys, Canadian Tire, etc.]
CHARLIE: Guys, where are we?
[Spinning LOST and music]
Scene 4 (Part 1)
['Previously on LOST' soundbit]
[Scene begins with Kate, Sawyer, Sayid, Boone, Charlie, Shannon, and Jin walking in the jungle.]
SAWYER: Hey, Captain Arab, think we can get the Yankees game on that radio of yours?
SAYID: No. Yankees suck.
SAWYER: Just try the radio, Magela!
SAYID: I don't want to waste the batteries! I need them for my hair curler too you know!
[Loud growl from the jungle]
CHARLIE: What in the bloody hell was that?
JIN: Others?
SHANNON: Santa?!
BOONE: Screw you guys, I'm goin' home.
[Boone walks off calmly]
[Shannon screams and runs away.. everyone else follows seconds later]
[Sawyer sighs]
SAWYER: Son of a bitch..
[Shot of polar bear charging at Sawyer.. Sawyer kills the polar bear]
[Everyone returns]
SAYID: That's a polar bear.
SAWYER: Was a polar bear..
SHANNON: Polar bears are pretty.
[Everybody stares at Shannon]
KATE: Where did you get the gun, Sawyer?
SAWYER: I fashioned it out of sand and leaves, where do you think I got it sweet cheeks?
[Shannon starts petting the dead bear]
SHANNON: Pretty bear.. pretty bear..
[Everybody stares at Shannon again]
SAYID: So.. the gun?
SAWYER: I got it off a US Marshal, alright Boss? Thought it would come in handy. Guess what? I just shot a bear!
[Silent acceptance by all]
SAWYER: And it was sweet..
[Sawyer strokes his gun lovingly then looks at the bear.]
SAWYER: Son of a bitch..
[Whooshing noise (Flashforward)]
Scene 4 (Part 2)
[Shot of a tent. Kate emerges. She stretches, fixes her clothing, and ties up her messy hair. Shot follows her as she
walks over to get water.]
[Shot of Jack watching Kate from afar. Jack runs up to her in a very creepy manor.]
JACK: Hey Kate, I know we've only known each other for, like, what? Four days? -
KATE: Two.
JACK: Ya, well, I really, really need to tell you how much I feel about you. I know it's incredibly weird, but I think
I may be in lov - [Jack is cut-off by a voice from the tent]
[Shot of Jack turning around to look at the tent.]
[Shot of Sawyer, no shirt on, peering out of the tent Kate just recently emerged from.]
SAWYER: Yo, freckles, ready for round three? Oh, what's up Doc?
[Sawyer takes a bite of a carrot]
[Whooshing noise (Flashforward)]
Scene 4 (Part 3)
[Charlie is pacing back and forth and is acting really jittery. Locke enters.]
LOCKE: Hello Charlie.
CHARLIE: Oh.. hey Locke.
[Charlie continues pacing and starts muttering to himself about 'the chocolate goodness']
LOCKE: Are you alright? I know that you're struggling.. and I know what it is you want.
[Locke dangles a bag of Cocoa Puffs in front of Charlie]
CHARLIE (in a Gollum-like voice): Gives them to me! I needs!
LOCKE: That doesn't make any sense, you look more like the fat one then Gollum.
[Charlie straightens up and acts normal]
CHARLIE: There, that better? Can I have them now?
LOCKE: Why do you need this? Why Charlie?
CHARLIE: Because.. I.. I just do, okay?
LOCKE: Charlie.. why do you need them? The first step to recovery is admittance.
CHARLIE: Fine? You want me to say it? You really want me to?
LOCKE: I think you have to.
CHARLIE: FINE! I'M COO-COO FOR COCOA PUFFS!!! Are you happy?
[Locke laughs and throws him the bag.]
LOCKE: I can't believe you said it..
[Locke laughs some more and turns around to walk away while Charlie chows down on Cocoa Puffs.. sobbing to himself]
LOCKE [out loud]: Hey Sawyer! You owe me a hundred bucks when we get off the Island, I got him to say it!
SAWYER: Son of a bitch!
[Spinning LOST and music]
Scene 5 (Part 1)
[Shots of Jin running through various places screaming OTHERS! Shot of a calm and quiet beach. Jin emerges from the jungle
from far away, runs down the beach towards the camera.]
JIN: [screaming]: OTHERS! OTHERS! OTHERS! OTHERS!
[Shot of Jin running right at Michael. He appears to be about to attack Michael. Sayid rushes into the picture and tackles
Jin to the ground.]
SAYID: We cannot understand this language you speak, assassin!
JIN: [screaming]: OTHERS! OTHERS!
[Shot of Michael and Sayid holding Jin down. Sayid reaches for handcuffs and puts them on Jin. Ethan enters. Approaches
Sayid and Michael in a creepy manor.]
[Shot of Ethan waving, no expression on his face.]
ETHAN: Hi. I'm Ethan. I'm from Canada. I'm also an Other.
[Shot of Jin yelling and screaming on the ground trying to get away. Sayid knocks him out. Shot moves back to Ethan standing
with no expression, looking down at Sayid and Michael. In the background, we see Ben Linus, Tom, and Mikhail run up to Walt
and take him.]
ETHAN: Hi. I'm Etham Rom. I am from Canada. It rocks. So much.
[Michael looks up at Ethan ready to tell him to shut up when he notices the Others behind Ethan taking Walt.]
MICHAEL: Hey. No. Put him down. Put down Walt. Now. Put. Down.
[Shot of Tom with his head down ashamed placing Walt back down on the beach. Shot of Michael pointing to the jungle.]
MICHAEL: Go.
[Shot of Ben, Mikhail & Tom slowly walking into the jungle, ashamed with sad expressions on their faces. Shot moves
back to Ethan.]
ETHAN: Anyways, gotta go kidnap a hot, blonde, pregnant chick for my boss and hang a drug-addict from a tree and leave
him for dead, I'll see you cats later!
[Ethan exits the scene.]
[Whoshing noise (Flashforward)]
Scene 5 (Part 2)
[Shot of Michael, Sawyer, Hurley, Sayid, Walt & Jack around a campfire. Shot of Michael.]
MICHAEL: Well, I think I might have figured out a way to try and get our asses off this damn Island. Walt, shut you mouth
boy. I mean, we can at least try it.
[Shot of Sawyer.]
SAWYER: What do you mean 'to try,' Hoss? Either ya do or you don't, there is no try, Chief.
[Shot of Hurley.]
HURLEY: Dude, you know thats a volleyball right?... ]
[Shot of Sayid.]
SAYID: And how do you propose we do that, Michael?
[Shot of Jin running out of the jungle screaming. We also see Shannon leading a hesitant Claire into her tent.]
JIN: OTHERS! OTHERS! OTHERS!
[Shot of Michael looking away from Jin.]
MICHAEL: Anyways, I used to make blueprints for houses and such back home. I can design a raft. I've already designed
a model. We can do this. I want to get my boy off this Island.
[Shot of Michael holding up a small replica of a raft. Shot of the group nodding in agreement, except Jack. Jin is still
seen yelling and pointing. Tom enters the scene.]
TOM: Howdy boys. We're gonna have to take the boy.
[Tom grabs Walt, looks around at the group in amazement. The group ignores his presence. Tom walks off screen. Jin is
still screaming.]
[Shot of Jack deep in thought.]
JACK: Wait, wait, wait. What is this? A raft for ants?
[Shot of Jack smacking the replica out of Michael's hand. Shot back to Jack. He is pointing down at the replica.]
JACK: It needs to be at least... three times bigger than that if we want to get everyone off this Island.
[Ben enters the scene.]
BEN: He's absolutely right.
[Whooshing Sound (Flashback)]
Scene 5 (Part 3)
[Shot of Charlie and Claire frightened. Shot of Ethan starring creepily at Charlie and Claire. He is waving.]
ETHAN: Hello. My name is Ethan Rom. I am from Canada. And I like to party. DriveShaft sucks.
[Shot of Claire, still with a scared expression.]
CHARLIE: You don't know me! I'm a bloody rock God!
ETHAN: I like you shirt. I like colors. Rain is good. I like to kill people. A lot.
[Shot of Claire looking stunned.]
CLAIRE: Charlie! I think you should know.. I'm pregnant.
[Claire clutches her extremely pregnant belly]
[Shot of Ethan holding a coin. He shows Charlie and Claire the two sides.]
ETHAN: You live; You die.
[Ethan flips the coin. Before it lands in his hand, he is tackled to the ground by Jack, Sayid, and Sawyer. The trio stands.
Ethan sits up. He still has his creepy look. Sayid, Jack, and Sawyer are all giving each other high fives and cheering. Ethan
begins to stand up. Charlie jumps in front of Ethan and impales him with a (insert weapon), killing Ethan instantly.]
[Shot of the group standing around Ethan's body.]
LOCKE: We took the best of them and destroyed it.
[Shot of Locke looking around at everyone.]
LOCKE: I killed those people. I'm whatever this Island needs me to be. You either die a hero, or live long enough to see
yourself become the villain.
JACK: John, why do you find it so easy to believe that?!
LOCKE: IT'S NEVER BEEN EASY!
[Spinning LOST and music]
Scene 6 (Part 1)
['Previously on LOST' soundbit]
[Shot of Kate standing in the jungle waiting. Jack enters the scene accompanied by Hurley.]
JACK: What did you want Kate? I heard you yelling.
KATE: I found the Black Rock.
[Shot of Jack, Kate & Hurley looking down to were Kate is pointing. Shot of a black rock on the jungle ground.]
[Whooshing noise]
Scene 6 (Part 2)
[Shot of Jack hunched over. Hurley is standing front of him. He points at Jack's shoulder.]
HURLEY: Dude, you got some Artz on you.
[Jack looks at his shoulder.]
JACK: Hehe.. gross.
[Whooshing noise]
Scene 6 (Part 3)
[Shot of Hurley and Shannon exiting Shannon's tent]
HURLEY: You know Shannon, I really like you.
SHANNON: Aww, I really like me too.
HURLEY: To think.. out of all the guys here you chose me..
SHANNON (nervously): Haha.. yeah.. what are the odds.
[Sawyer, Charlie, Sayid, and Claire all walk by and say hello in a different flirting manner.]
SHANNON: Well, I have to go find Locke. See ya.
[Whooshing noise]
Scene 6 (Part 4)
[Shot of Claire and Hurley sitting down on the beach by fire, talking.]
[Shot of Charlie replacing the F with M on his tapped fingers to make MATE. Sighs. Looks up at Claire. Grins devilishly.]
[Shot of Sawyer leaning up against wreckage. Reading LOST magazine.]
[Shot of Jack and Kate talking and laughing around a campfire. Kate punches Jack softly on the shoulder. Jack pushes Kate
over and walks off angrily.]
[Shot of Shannon and Boone. Shannon is texting and talking on her cellphone. Boone is laying down and combing his hair.]
[Shot of Michael and Walt eating food.]
[Shot of Sayid in the bushes. Holding an AK-47. Examining the beach.]
[Shot of Tom, Ben, Ethan and Mikhail sitting around a fire, laughing.]
[Shot of Jin sleeping and mumbling 'Others' over and over.]
[Happy music ends. Loud ominous noise is heard. Shot of the jungle. Machinery noise. Crashing noise. Trees falling noises.
Thunderous roar.]
[Shot of everyone getting up. Examining the jungle for the source of the noise.]
[Shot of Hurley and Claire.]
HURLEY: Dude, did anyone see that?
[Shot of Jack and Kate. Sawyer walks up in front of them. Shot of Michael and Walt.]
MICHAEL: No it ain't Vincent, Walt.
[Shot of Sayid standing next to Kate. Shot of Sayid. Jin runs to him.]
JIN: Others?
[Shot of Jack grabbing Jin by the shirt. Angry.]
JACK: I dont understand you!
[Jack throws Jin to the ground. Shot of Boone. He grabs a grenade from Sayid's belt and throws it into the jungle. Shot
of the jungle. Shot of Sayid.]
SAYID: That was a gift you know.. a replica. Thanks.
[Shot of Ethan facing the crowd. His back to the jungle.]
ETHAN: Hi everyone. I'm Ethan. I'm a spy in your camp. I lived here for a long time. I wasn't on the plane.
[Loud noises are heard again.]
[Shot of Charlie. Holding an empty baggy.]
[Shot of Ethan smiling and waving.]
[Shot of Charlie.]
CHARLIE: Terrific..
[Spinning LOST and Music]
Scene 7 (Part 1)
['Previously on LOST' soundbit]
[Shot of Locke and Boone trecking through the jungle. A noise is heard from above and the two look up to see a beach craft
crash landing on top of a cliff in front of them. Boone turns to face Locke.]
BOONE: John, there could be some way to call for help in that beach craft!
LOCKE: Oh my God, no shit.
BOONE: We should climb it and see what inside it. Someone could be inside and hurt.
LOCKE: Ya... um... Boone, do you want to know a secret?
BOONE: Whats that John?
LOCKE: I am an, um, my leg is wounded.
BOONE: No it's not, your leg is fine. Your standing on it right now.
[Locke takes out one of his knives and stabs himself in the leg.]
BOONE: Wow. Ok then. Nice one, John. Guess it's just me going up then. Guess your stayin here since you can't climb with
that wound.
LOCKE: Don't ever tell me what I can't do! Ever!
[Shot of Boone shaking his head. He walks towards the cliff and begins to climb. Shot of the sun. Feeling like many hours
later since Boone began the climb, shot is of Boone seemingly very far up the cliff. Shot pans back to reveal Boone is only
a mere 10 feet from the ground. Shaking and seemingly out of energy, Boone falls. Shot of Boone landing on a hatch. Shot of
Boone standing up.]
BOONE: Phew, I'm ok. Close one though. Luckily I didn't get injured. At all. Hey! Look. I just found a hatch. How did
we not see that earlier?
[Shot of a Locke throwing a knife at Boone. Shot of the blade stuck deeply in Boone's leg. Blood begins to pour from the
wound. Boone falls over in agony.]
BOONE: John?! What is your problem? Are you mental?... Oh man that hurts. I need to get to Jack... John help me!
LOCKE: Don't die on me Boone!
[Shot of Locke grabbing Boone by the leg and pulling him away into the jungle. We hear Boone's cries as he is dragged
further and further into the jungle.]
BOONE: Oh my God it hurts! Why are you pulling me by the leg... John?! JOHN!
[Whooshing noise (Flashforward)]
Scene 7 (Part 2)
[Shot of Boone laying down in terrible pain. Jack is seen scrambling around trying his best to help Boone. Shot of Boone's
leg very bloody. Jack places a band-aid on Boone's wounded leg. Shot of Jack examining Boone's head. Jack believes the problem
is with Boone's head.]
BOONE: Jack... What the hell, my head is fine... You idiot, it's my leg, can you not see?
JACK: Ahhh, well, according to my tests, Boone, you are mentally diseased. Retarded even. I'm afraid you only have moments
to live. I've also noticed a ton of blood everywhere, so wherever the hell thats coming from, I don't think it's a good thing
at all.
BOONE: [In agony]: Jack... please... for God sakes Jack... it's my damn leg, theres a huge gash in it... all you need
to do is clean it... and stitch it up... my head is fine... it's my... leg... losing so much blood...
[Shot of Jack looking down at Boone in fear and sadness. Crying, Jack reaches down and grabs a gun and begins to load
it. Shot of Boone looking horrified.]
BOONE: Jack... what is that for?
JACK: [Crying]: I'm sorry Boone, I have to do this. I can't let you risk contaminating the others. Ma, he's sick... live
together die alone, right Boone?
[Shot of Jack pointing a gun to Boone. Boone is pleading for his life. Jack shoots. Head shot. Boone is dead. Blood is
everywhere. Shannon enters the scene screaming for Boone.]
SHANNON: Oh my God! Jack! What happened to my brother?! Boone! What the hell -
[Shot of Jack shooting Shannon point blank with his gun. Shannon is instantly dead. Shot of Jack crying.]
JACK: I'm bored of it.
[Jack throws the gun away into the jungle. Sayid enters the scene. Runs up to Jack.]
SAYID: I heard gunshots. What happened here Jack?... Oh dear lord... what on Earth? Jack, what is this madness? Who did
this?
[Shot of Jack. Arms folded behind his back. Swaying. Embarrassed look upon his face.]
JACK: Locke did it.
[Whooshing noise (Flashforward)]
Scene 7 (Part 3)
[Shot of Locke in the jungle. Pounding his fists on the hatch. He is angry. Screaming.]
LOCKE: What am I supposed to do?! I've done everything you wanted me to! What do I have to do to get in this damn thing?
[Shot of the hatch door. A sign reads 'Pull'. Locke is pushing it. Shot of Locke. Locke shrugs]
LOCKE: Well I guess I am going to have to blow the door open.
